Former star baseball player Kenny Powers returns to his hometown but instantly finds that he's not as respected as he once was. Training to return to the pros, Kenny becomes a full time gym teacher for the meantime.

Kenny tries to become the spokesman for a luxury car dealer. After an embarrassing scene at the car dealership, Kenny appears with his driver at a school dance and declares his love for April while high on ecstasy.

After Kenny sets Stevie up to take the rap for his own alcohol-fuelled car crash, Kenny hires Stevie as his assistant. Kenny then has Cassie sell his memorabilia on eBay and begins training and using steroids again.

Stevie puts together a DVD of Kenny's greatest moments in the hope the major leagues will take note. Later, Kenny attends a barbecue where, in front of all his friends, his boss calls him out for being a has-been.

Thanks largely to Terrence's words, Kenny decides to give up on his dream of returning to pro baseball. Meanwhile, arrogant car dealer Ashley comes back into the picture, along with the man who ended Kenny's career.

Kenny gets an offer from Tampa and says goodbye to his family and teaching job. Right before he leaves, a phone call from the agent says the deal is off and Kenny is last seen driving away with a troubled look on his face.

Kenny Powers is now a family man with a wife, April, two little kids, and a home in the suburbs, but a night out with a former teammate and current TV star has him yearning to get back in the limelight.

Kenny is seeking new fame as a professional sports commentator and is invited onto former teammate Guy Young's radio show. When his radio debut goes disastrously wrong, Kenny reluctantly acknowledges there is only one man who can help him, and that man is Steve.

An overnight trip to a water park is a nice, honest, wholesome treat from Kenny to his family and friends, but it sets the stage for an evening of anarchic debauchery.

Whilst Kenny makes good on a threat to Gene, Stevie is finding Kenny a charity to promote for Guy's dragon boat race, and the one he finds is not what Kenny was expecting. Meanwhile, Toby uses his dad as a role model to summon the courage to feed his new pet.

Kenny's stock is soaring, so much so that he and Stevie have started planning business ventures based on his new found notoriety. Kenny's fame is not pleasing everyone though, especially Guy, who asks him to tone it down a notch on "Sports Sesh".

Kenny is rattled when Guy introduces an unexpected wild card into "Sports Sesh", and it's not long before Kenny finds himself fighting to save his broadcasting career. For her part, April wouldn't be shedding any tears, she has had her fill of "Famous Kenny".

Kenny finds his personal extravagances are starting to take a toll at work. Meanwhile, Dustin and Cassie help Kenny learn a valuable Christmas lesson, and Stevie keeps up appearances in the face of considerable adversity.

Kenny Powers is on the verge of achieving his dream: hosting his own talk show; but when the vicious head of the network demands he emotionally finish off unbalanced Guy Young live on-air, his moment of truth arrives. How far is Kenny prepared to go to land the job?

Kenny Powers resurrects his baseball career in Myrtle Beach with catcher and party pal Shane, while a detour to Shelby to attend the one-year birthday of his son Toby reunites Kenny with April.

With baby Toby in tow, a seething Kenny heads north in search of April. Getting no help from Dustin, Maria or Jamie, Kenny tracks down his former lackey Stevie, currently employed at Ashley Schaeffer's car dealership.

Pro scout Roy McDaniel asks Kenny to mentor Ivan Dochenko, a promising young Russian pitcher. Stevie lays down the ground rules for his return to Kenny's team, while grappling with Shane and Kenny's relationship.

Convinced his son is cursed, Kenny blames Toby for his recent travails. Later, Kenny tries to connect with Shane's straight-laced family during a difficult time. Meanwhile, Stevie is overcome by guilt.

Kenny is surprised by some unannounced visitors. Desperate to win back control of his team, Kenny decides to stage a 4th of July party. Meanwhile, a guilt-ridden Stevie struggles with confessing to Maria.

Kenny and Eduardo launch a plan to secure permanent child care for Toby. Stevie continues to lament his loss and Kenny embraces a new pitch while facing up to his responsibilities as a man and a father.

Kenny tries to win over Coach Banks and get back in the rotation but many obstacles threaten to detour Kenny in his pursuit of redemption. Meanwhile, Stevie attempts to win back Maria.

Series finale. As Kenny attempts to handle the current path his life seems to be taking, an unanticipated & auspicious turn of events changes the future he was certain he had as a pitcher with the Myrtle Beach Mermen.

Kenny resurfaces in Mexico under an alias and with a passion for cockfighting but draws the attention of a baseball manager who wonders if Kenny Powers can still pitch.

Charros owner Sebastian Cisneros agrees to pull out all the stops in promoting Kenny's return to organised baseball but Kenny loses motivation after learning a secret about April from an old friend.

Puzzled by the Mexican fans' lukewarm reception, Kenny starts a grassroots PR campaign to burnish his image. He also manages to make some inroad with Vida by inviting her to Sebastian's yacht party.

Though Charros fans respond to Kenny, he is warned by Roger about the perils of showboating. Kenny learns he has serious competition in his courtship of Vida.

Kenny considers a new full-time life working in Mexico.

Kenny shows Mexico what he's really made of and settles some old scores.

Kenny and Stevie make their way back to their home town, Shelby, North Carolina.
